I have completely animated the Amoeba stage of my animation. It is easily the majority of my animation and now I just need to animate the aggregation stage to the fruiting body stage and then I can begin rendering.
Let me know if you have any suggestions for changes.
Okay - I think the first 'drop' into the scene needs to be quicker; we need a nit more gravity! Also - and I don't know how to put this more politely, but the action of the amoeba eating the leaves is a little too much like an excitable puppy humping a cushion... It looks more like the amoeba is harassing the leaves, as opposed to 'chewing' them. Are you able to reconfigure the movement so it looks a little less like unwanted sexual attention?!
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean there, now I can't not see it. I'll see what I can do to improve that and make it less 'humpy'. I'll make the first scene spore drop quicker as well.
DeletePhil has an amazing way with words :)
ReplyDeleteThe spore seemed to drop more quickly on Friday, it could just be that it starts higher up now so needs to speed up?.
I know what you want to avoid is actually having to animate the amoeba's mouth eating. The side on view of the amoeba eating is less "humpy", perhaps you can just change the perspective of the other times?
All stuff for Monday anyway, make sure you get some Art Of done and sounds sorted :)
will do :)
